Tierpoort Tutor Centre is a private, independent tutoring centre situated in Tierpoort, Pretoria East. We offer a supportive, flexible and caring learning environment for children from Grade RR to Grade 12.
Our focus is on individual attention, small groups and a balanced approach to education, where academic excellence, personal growth and real-life skills go hand in hand.
We believe that every child is unique, and that learning should not be limited to four walls. At Tierpoort, we embrace different learning styles and provide a place where learners can feel safe, supported and encouraged to be themselves.

Extra Services & Activities
More than just academics.
At Tierpoort Tutor Centre, we believe children also grow through creativity, movement, practical skills, animals and positive experiences with others. Our extra services and activities give learners opportunities to explore new interests, build confidence and have fun.
Art Classes
Creative, hands-on classes where learners can draw, paint, colour, craft and experiment with different art forms while developing confidence and imagination.
Horse Riding Lessons
Riding lessons for beginners through to more experienced riders, with a focus on confidence, practical riding skills and learning to work responsibly with horses.
Rhythm & Song Classes
Music, movement, singing, rhythm and instruments come together in lively sessions designed to encourage self-expression, participation and confidence.
Skills Training
Practical, real-life activities such as gardening, cooking, outdoor skills, teamwork and problem solving help learners build independence and useful everyday skills.
Recreational Sport
Fun, non-pressured physical activities including soccer, cricket, golf, athletics and netball that encourage movement, teamwork, confidence and enjoyment.
Equine Assisted Therapy & Counselling
Our equine-assisted support is provided by a qualified Neuropsychology & Educational Specialist Counsellor. Sessions use guided interaction with horses to help children better understand how they think, learn and process information, while also supporting emotional growth, confidence and self-awareness.
The aim is to support each child in developing practical coping, learning and life skills so they can work toward their full potential in a calm, supportive environment.
Friday Fun Days
For children ages 6–18 • R350 per Friday
Friday Fun Days are open to children who are not enrolled at Tierpoort Tutor Centre. Any outside learner is welcome to join us for a fun-filled Friday of art, horse riding, recreational sport, skills training, and rhythm & song.
It is a great way to make friends, try new activities and enjoy the relaxed, active Tierpoort environment.
Exam Invigilation
For external learners • R200 per test or exam
We offer supervised test and exam invigilation for learners who are not enrolled at the centre and who need an approved invigilator.
Tierpoort Tutor Centre has Impaq-approved invigilators. Impaq registration number: H9014.
